Why This Role, Why Now

Software supply chain security has become a critical priority for organizations that build or buy software, and ReversingLabs delivers the software package analysis speed and intelligence needed to address that growing risk. That advantage only drives growth if the market understands it. This role exists to define ReversingLabs’ positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation, while building the product marketing function that brings our story to the world’s most sophisticated security buyers.

Is This You?

You're the rare marketer who can sit down with malware analysts and walk out with a story a CISO will repeat in a board meeting. You've defined or pivoted a category before, you've built teams that scale, and you know the difference between messaging that sounds good in a deck and messaging that moves deals.

You'll own how the market understands ReversingLabs — translating deep technical differentiation into positioning, messaging, and campaigns that accelerate go-to-market clarity, pipeline, and category leadership.

  • Integrate AI into the collateral generation workflow to increase throughput of first drafts for datasheets, solution briefs, white papers, social posts, and blogs, while maintaining rigorous human editorial standards and technical accuracy review.
  • Develop and curate strong messaging, campaigns, and sales and channel assets, including presentations, videos, demos, solution maps, white papers, and data sheets.

  • Other duties as assigned
What Success Looks Like in Year One
  • Within 90 days, you've completed an audit of current positioning, messaging, and the competitive landscape, and delivered a refreshed core narrative with executive alignment behind it.
  • Refreshed use case messaging and collateral are live and in market, with measurable lift in sales adoption, asset consumption, and campaign performance alongside Demand Generation.
  • The Product Marketing team is structured, staffed, and operating with clear ownership, and you're a trusted partner to Product Management, Sales, and the executive team.
  • ReversingLabs' standing in analyst research has measurably advanced, and an AI-assisted content workflow is producing higher collateral throughput without any loss of technical accuracy.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
