ABOUT US
The Senior Director of Product Marketing owns how Rep Data brings everything it builds to market, from major platform launches to small feature releases, for both prospects and existing customers.
You'll turn what our product and research teams build into stories our buyers understand and our sellers can use. You'll plan and run every launch end to end, arm sales and customer success to win and grow accounts, and make sure our messaging holds up in both US and European markets.
This is a player-coach role with no direct reports to start with an opportunity over time to manage others. You'll report to the EVP, Marketing and work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and our research team. As we grow, you'll help shape what the product marketing function becomes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own go-to-market for every launch
- Build and run a tiered launch framework, so major platform moments and smaller feature releases each get the right level of attention & investment.
- Lead launches end to end, from positioning and pricing input through enablement, campaigns, customer communications, and post-launch results.
- Plan launches for both new prospects and existing customers, including adoption and expansion motions within the current base.
- Adapt launches and messaging for US and European markets, working with commercial leads in each region.
Shape the story
- Turn product capabilities and research expertise into clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions for each audience and buyer persona.
- Carry the company narrative into product-level stories, keeping the brand consistent as we bring several products together into one offering.
- Tell the story of our services and research partnership alongside the technology, because how we work with customers is an enormous part of what we sell.
- Build proof through customer stories, case studies, and research-led content, working closely with our research team.
Partner across the business
- Work hand in hand with product managers on roadmap input, launch readiness, and packaging, bringing the voice of the market into product decisions.
- Partner with sales and customer success to understand what's winning, what's stalling, and what customers need to hear next.
- Collaborate with our research team to bring their expertise and insights into launches, content, and thought leadership.
Enable the commercial team
- Create the tools sales and customer success rely on, like pitch decks, battlecards, demo narratives, objection handling, and onboarding materials.
- Run launch training in collaboration with the Commercial leaders and ongoing enablement so every seller can tell the story with confidence.
- Own competitive intelligence across both research platforms and data-quality providers, and keep the team current as the landscape shifts.
Build the earning curriculum:
- Design and maintain a structured training curriculum for sales and customer success covering ongoing skill-building.
- Build a customers education program, including onboarding paths, live training, webinars and self-serve learning resources, that helps customers get value from our platform and services faster.
- Partner with the research team to bring research best practices and data-quality expertise into the curriculum.
- Update curriculum with every launch and measure impact through certifications, completion, seller ramp time, product adoption and customer feedback.
Measure and improve
- Define success metrics for every launch, such as pipeline, win rates, adoption, and expansion, and report on results.
- Use win/loss analysis, customer feedback, and market research to keep sharpening positioning and priorities.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in product marketing at a SaaS or technology-enabled services company.
- You've led launches of every size, from company-defining platform releases to steady feature drops, and you can show the business results.
- You're a strong storyteller who can make technical and data-heavy products clear and compelling for both executives and practitioners.
- You understand how to market a mix of software and services, and you can explain the value of the people behind the product as well as the product itself.
- You've built sales enablement and competitive programs that sellers actually use.
- You're a natural partner to product managers, sellers, and subject-matter experts, and you earn trust without needing formal authority.
- You're comfortable as a player-coach. You set the strategy, write the first draft, and do the work.
- You've marketed to buyers in both the US and Europe, or you're eager to learn how messaging and buying behavior differ across those markets.
- You're organized and data-driven, and you can run several launches at once without losing the details.
