The Senior Director of People Experience and Integration is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement, optimize people processes, and ensure seamless integration during acquisitions. This role will focus on creating a world-class HR experience by blending people, systems, and processes to drive employee satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, and compliance. The Senior Director will work cross-functionally to align people strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Candidates located near Atlanta, GA are preferred but will consider candidates in Central or Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead acquisition integration efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Oversee the alignment of people, systems, and processes to achieve business objectives and maintain a high-quality employee experience throughout integration.

  • Partner with HRBPs and leaders to assess cultural compatibility and build talent programs that support a seamless transition during the integration process.

  • Implement onboarding and integration programs that help new employees feel connected and aligned with the company's mission and values from day one.

  • Measure cultural integration success through feedback, employee engagement surveys, and other key metrics.

  • Design and implement innovative employee experience and engagement programs that promote a positive organizational culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and improve retention.

  • Drive the design and implementation of learning and development programs that support employee growth, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. Partner with HRBPs from design process through implementation.

  • Architect talent management programs, including succession planning, talent reviews, and career development initiatives. Partner with HRBPs from design process through implementation.

  • Ensure talent programs align with the company’s long-term business strategy, promoting internal mobility, leadership development, and employee engagement.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that blend people, systems, and processes to create a best-in-class HR operation, ensure the HR technology ecosystem supports business needs and enhances user experience.

  • Focus on delivering a user-centric experience that enhances efficiency and employee satisfaction.

  • Manage relationships with third-party partners, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Ensure policies and processes comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Proactively manage audits and risk mitigation strategies to maintain compliance across the organization.

  • Lead internal communication strategies to ensure that employees are well-informed and engaged.

  • Drive development and execution of communications plans that promote transparency, align with company values, and enhance overall employee experience.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Set performance goals and regularly evaluate the team’s progress, providing feedback and guidance to ensure high standards are met.

  • Support administrative processes and initiatives to ensure effective team management and organizational success.

  • Drive and foster a positive organizational culture by exemplifying and promoting our core values and behaviors, ensuring alignment with company standards and nurturing an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and performance.

  • Partner closely with head of HR and cross-functional teams to develop, validate, and execute project plans aligned with evolving business goals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with leadership, cross functional teams, and external sources.

  • Advanced understanding of HR systems like Workday, particularly in managing employee experience and data-driven HR processes.

  • Capable of bringing together diverse individuals, fostering a positive team environment, and promoting collaboration and teamwork.

  • Dedicated to the growth and development of team members, providing constructive feedback, mentoring, and opportunities for learning and advancement.

  • Strong project management skills, particularly in leading large-scale people projects such as acquisition integrations and talent program rollouts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and the capacity to manage and overcome challenges, adapting to changing business needs and priorities.

  • Strong vendor management skills, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment of systems with organizational goals.

  • Ability to ensure people programs and procedures meet legal and regulatory requirements while fostering an ethical workplace culture.

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment; able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining high-quality execution and delivering results on time.

  • Experienced in facilitating large-scale organizational and process changes, both within HR and across the business; comfortable leading others through ambiguity while reinforcing adoption and engagement.

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to open, clear, and consistent communication; proactively shares updates, status reports, and feedback across stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience, including experience as a Director or Senior Director, with a proven track record of leading large-scale integration, transformation, and people experience initiatives.

  • Extensive experience leading acquisition integration for acquisitions and managing the complexities of large-scale organizational change.

  • Proven ability to design and execute talent management programs that support cultural change, leadership development, and workforce readiness.

  • Prior experience working in a consulting capacity with proven ability to diagnose organizational challenges and recommend strategic people solutions preferred.
