Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Director, People Business Partners will oversee Spring Health’s People Business Partner and Employee Relations functions. You will manage a team of 6 direct and indirect reports including two Director level leaders. You will collaborate closely with Spring Health’s executive leadership to cultivate a high-performance culture, drive employee engagement, and support talent development initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with business and organizational excellence teams to execute on Spring Health strategy and enable core People programs and initiatives such as performance management, talent assessment, succession planning and leadership development programs. 
  • Build tools and systems that provide business leaders with real time analyses of their organization health by analyzing trends in performance, employee engagement, attrition and retention.
  • Analyze trends and business metrics to provide guidance and insights on how to improve productivity through leadership coaching and development.
  • Provide advice and counsel to leaders and employees on performance related issues, including talent planning, employee development, compensation and benefits and performance improvement
  • Leverage the team to support change efforts surrounding org design, org change and other organizational shifts.
  • Partner with the Compensation team to help with compensation planning, including approving offers, managing performance increases, and scaling our compensation model.
  • Partner with People Operations to scale policy development, program delivery, and workforce design and planning.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to align on workforce planning, headcount management, and internal mobility strategies that enable us to attract, grow, and retain top talent across Spring Health.
  • Guide and provide counsel on employee investigations and complex, sensitive people matters 

What success looks like:

  • Leading with strategic influence, demonstrated by the inclusion of People team insights in executive-level decisions and long-range business planning.
  • Developing people leaders across the org, with measurable increases in manager effectiveness scores, internal promotions, or succession bench strength.
  • Resolving complex employee relations issues effectively, with increased confidence in ER processes and reduction in repeat or escalated cases.
  • Improving employee engagement through targeted action planning measured through our Thriving Index engagement survey
  • Delivering high value people business partner services and consulting measured through the PBP CSAT
  • Driving successful organizational change initiatives, as measured by seamless development and execution of change plans, stakeholder alignment, and minimal disruption to employee engagement and productivity

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years experience in People Business Partner roles supporting senior executives
  • 3+ years managing a People Business Partner function
  • Strong competence within the HR function including employee relations, coaching, compliance, communications, and change management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an ability to influence managers/leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. 
  • Highly productive and influential in fast-paced environments
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills, adept at influencing colleagues across all organizational levels.experience managing People Business Partners 

The target base salary range for this position is $199,090 - $248,860 and and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
