Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic, experienced commercial leader for the role of Senior Director, Orgovyx Brand Marketing Lead. This is a high-impact and highly visible position, responsible for shaping and driving the U.S. strategy for SMPA’s flagship oncology brand.
Orgovyx is the first and only oral GnRH receptor antagonist approved for advanced prostate cancer and has been commercially available for over four years. As the brand enters its next stage of growth, this role will be critical in evolving its direction, delivering performance, and maintaining its differentiated position in a competitive market.
The Executive Director will lead a high-performing team of marketers spanning HCP, omnichannel, patient/consumer, and congress channels. They will also play a key role in driving alignment with Pfizer, SMPA’s alliance partner, and ensuring effective collaboration across internal stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a priority brand with strong clinical and commercial momentum—while driving continued brand growth and patient impact in the prostate cancer space.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the brand strategy and growth plan for Orgovyx, setting clear direction and partnering closely with your team to deliver high-impact execution.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across HCP, omnichannel, patient/consumer, and congress channels.
- Manage the Orgovyx P&L, ensuring delivery of revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Oversee campaign development and promotional tools that engage customers and drive market differentiation.
- Use real-time data and insights to guide decisions, optimize performance, and adjust tactics quickly.
- Lead cross-functional commercial initiatives across Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other key functions to ensure alignment, clarity, and delivery of shared objectives.
- Serve as the primary commercial lead for alliance execution with Pfizer, ensuring alignment and coordinated implementation.
- Represent the brand in internal leadership forums, strategic reviews, and key external engagements.
- Respond to evolving market dynamics and clinical developments with agility and focus.
- Contribute to lifecycle and portfolio planning, real-world evidence, and strategic evolution of the brand.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15 – 20 years (w/o Master’s) or 10 – 15 years (with Master’s) of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Track record of success leading commercial brand strategy, execution, and team leadership in oncology.
- Prior experience with brand leadership, full P&L ownership, and working within alliance structures is highly desirable.
The base salary range for this role is $229,120 to $286,400. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes unlimited paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
