The Senior Director of IT will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Marketing, and Innovation. You will be responsible for shaping our digital ecosystem—from mobile app enhancements and backend infrastructure to member experience design and data security. This role is primarily remote, with periodic on-site days at our West Hollywood, CA headquarters.
What to Expect / What You’ll Do
Technology Strategy & Digital Innovation
Define and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead the architecture of scalable, secure, cloud-native systems across web, app, backend, and APIs
Drive technology modernization through adoption of microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
Champion full-stack engineering and agile product development focused on innovation and performance
Mobile & Digital Experience Leadership
Oversee the continuous development and optimization of the Next Health mobile app
Lead UX/UI strategy and design execution across digital touchpoints, ensuring intuitive, brand-consistent experiences
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features, including personalization and automation
Enhance digital member tools for onboarding, booking, service tracking, and engagement
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Design and manage an enterprise-level cybersecurity strategy
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable data privacy regulations
Conduct routine security audits, threat assessments, and incident response exercises
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Build and lead a high-performing, agile technology team
Define clear roles, KPIs, and development paths that align with company goals
Manage key vendor and technology partner relationships to drive performance and cost efficiency
Business Continuity & Project Oversight
Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Lead cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget
Create and manage the IT roadmap with quarterly and annual milestones
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum of 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in high-growth environments
Expertise in full-stack architecture, mobile app development, and digital UX/UI
Strong command of cloud-native platforms, API-first design, and DevOps methodologies
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and secure coding practices
Experience working with multi-location service businesses or franchise models preferred
Proven success building and leading high-performance technology teams
Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership

Expected Compensation
$130,000 – $150,000 / annual salary + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
