Role Overview
We're looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creative Senior Director of Global Partner Marketing to lead the development and execution of Cloudflare's partner marketing strategy. In this role, you'll oversee the planning, enablement, and co-marketing efforts across our global partner ecosystem. You'll work closely with Partner Sales, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Corporate Communications to drive joint pipeline, increase partner-sourced revenue, and scale the impact of our partner programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
  • Own the global partner marketing strategy across all partner segments (channel, alliances, GSIs, MSPs, tech partners).
  • Define and track KPIs for partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, revenue, and engagement.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global partner marketing team.

Partner Campaigns & Co-Marketing
  • Develop and execute integrated co-marketing campaigns with strategic partners that drive awareness, pipeline, and joint value.
  • Scale MDF usage through repeatable campaign-in-a-box programs and partner enablement tools.
  • Manage partner events, sponsorships, and joint field activations.

Partner Communications & Enablement
  • Own the partner messaging strategy, content development, and communication cadence (newsletters, webinars, portals).
  • Collaborate with Enablement and Product Marketing to launch training, playbooks, and assets that accelerate partner sales motion.

Ecosystem & Program Support
  • Partner with Product, BD, and Partner Sales to support go-to-market efforts for technology integrations and marketplace listings.
  • Support Cloudflare One, Zero Trust, and AI partner ecosystem expansion through targeted marketing programs.
  • Evolve the Cloudflare Partner Network (CPN) branding and marketing framework.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in partner or channel marketing roles.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise SaaS preferred.
  • Proven success developing global partner programs and marketing strategies that deliver measurable pipeline impact.
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of partner ecosystems: resellers, GSIs, alliances, marketplaces, and co-selling motions.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, PRM systems, and partner marketing automation tools (e.g., Impartner, Allbound, Crossbeam).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
