Job Title:

Sr Director Enterprise Program Success

Department:

Growth Strategy & Operations

Level & Status

P6, Exempt

Position Description:

As Sr Director of Enterprise Program Success, you will lead the growth strategy for a focused portfolio of our largest, highest-potential enterprise clients. These relationships are central to Ren’s long-term commercial success. You are not a relationship manager in the traditional sense. You are a growth architect: someone who builds deep trust at every level of a client organization, identifies where the next level of partnership is achievable, and owns a structured plan to get there – driving sustainable, scalable growth in alignment with Ren’s risk and compliance standards. This is the role for someone who has spent their career at the intersection of strategy, client relationships, and execution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Owning the Account Plan and Growth Outcomes

You carry full accountability for the growth trajectory of a focused portfolio of 2–3 enterprise accounts. You own the plan, and you own the results.

  • Define and own growth goals for each account: incremental philanthropic gift volume, product module adoption, financial advisor penetration, and more
  • Build account-specific growth plans that are active, living strategies – regularly tested, refined, and tied to measurable outcomes – and designed to maximize growth potential within responsible risk parameters
  • Develop a quantitative firm-specific model of growth: understand which levers drive which outcomes, validate through data and customer feedback loops (NPS, focus groups, experimentation), and maintain accountability to measurable performance standards
  • Prioritize and sequence growth initiatives through structured evaluation of opportunity size, strategic fit, resource requirements, and risk/return trade-offs – with appropriate escalation of material risks – then build the alignment to execute, both on the client side and internally

Building Relationships That Drive Impact

You will build and sustain relationships across the full depth of each client organization — with the decision-makers, influencers, and operators who shape what's actually possible.

  • Cultivate executive-level relationships spanning senior leadership, business unit heads, regional leadership, operations, technology, and philanthropy teams
  • Develop and maintain a deliberate system for tracking and managing key stakeholders; mapping influencers, champions, and decision-makers; understanding their priorities, and keeping Ren present and relevant at every level
  • Act as a credible strategic advisor to client leadership: understand their competitive landscape, organizational goals, and philanthropic strategy well enough to speak to their agenda, not just our own
  • Build business cases alongside client stakeholders that justify incremental investment in giving-related integrations – helping them make the internal case as effectively as you make ours

Turning Client Complexity Into Growth Infrastructure

Large enterprise clients are ecosystems with established workflows and interdependencies, layered technology, and many stakeholders who shape whether things run smoothly. Your job is to understand that ecosystem and use it as a foundation for growth.

  • Map core user journeys end-to-end to identify opportunities for deeper integration into financial advisor workflows, making it easy for financial advisors to utilize Ren-supported offerings
  • Partner closely with Ren's product and operations teams to develop workflow solutions shaped by client needs, ensuring the client's voice informs what we build and that adoption follows
  • Engage client-side ops, technology, and business leaders as partners in designing and implementing integrations
  • Translate client feedback into actionable product roadmap input; close the loop between what clients need and what Ren delivers

Orchestrating the Internal Team Behind the Account

Execution at this scale requires coordinating across many contributors. You are responsible for leading through others – coordinating across functions to drive alignment, structured delivery, and customer-centric progress consistent with organizational priorities.

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across marketing, field/relationship teams, analytics, product, and operations
  • Own the top-line performance story: build account-level reporting and dashboards, and keep senior leadership current on account health, growth trajectory, risks, and mitigation
  • Work across partner product marketing, charitable strategists, and operations leads to ensure go-to-client readiness across the account ecosystem

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business management, sales, or other related field.
  • 8–12 years in enterprise growth, strategic account management, or management consulting, with meaningful exposure to financial institutions, fintech, or financial services; experience in regulated environments preferred
  • In depth understanding how operations and product capabilities translate into growth, and how to use that knowledge to identify opportunities, shape what gets built, and drive adoption on the client side.
  • Demonstrated ownership of growth outcomes with a track record of accelerating performance in complex, high-value accounts
  • Fluency in the relationship between product, operations, and commercial outcomes; able to connect client needs to internal capabilities and drive execution across both
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to model growth opportunities, assess resource trade-offs, and build rigorous business cases
  • Exceptional executive presence: comfortable with C-suite engagement, able to craft and land high-stakes presentations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and informal authority, driving execution across marketing, product, field organizations, and more
  • Self-directed leader who can create structure in ambiguous situations, move from strategy to execution, and navigate the compliance and operational constraints typical of fintech environments

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
