The Senior Director will lead the global manufacturing technology strategy, tactical planning and development as well as direct the operations of the manufacturing network infrastructure. This position will partner closely with Manufacturing Operations site leads to solve complex problems with digital technology solutions within the manufacturing plants.
How you’ll make an impact:

Drive execution of all manufacturing Digital transformation strategies and initiative across people, process, technology and data, spanning core GSC Quality manufacturing business processes.

Develop and drive short and long-term global strategy and implementation of manufacturing plant digital transformation across all manufacturing networks.

Communicate and promote digital opportunities as well as provide status of ongoing digital initiatives to business partners.

Lead strategic transformational projects across the GSC generating operational excellence through organizational digital maturity and tangible business results.

Drive culture change for Manufacturing Operations site leads to leverage technology in monitoring and sustaining production goals, metrics and digital factory.

Oversees use of multiple enterprise-wide approaches to establish a digital ecosystem/change management mindset with cross-functional leadership to ensure Digital manufacturing literacy and advocacy.

Evaluate interdependencies and impacts of all GSC Quality digital initiatives on key stakeholders across functions to orchestrate a course of action.
What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in business with a preference in engineering.
-
10+ years demonstrated track record of business impact implementations in manufacturing roles within a variety of industries.

Demonstrated track record in leading the establishment of digital organization, leading to adoption of enterprise-wide digital practices and applications.

Experience in the manufacturing of high technology medical devices, healthcare or a regulated industry.

Demonstrated track record in people management.

Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence for the creation, alignment and communication of the long-term strategy roadmaps to all levels of the business.

Expertise with MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA, BMS, EMS and asset management system (Maximo) function and implementation.

Good understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and technology.

Proven expertise in leveraging data and analytics for optimizing Factory operations.

Solid strategic thinking, project management, team leadership and people management

Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including MES, ERP, PLM, and asset management system.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making.

Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.

Serve as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, Regions and IT.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $204,000 to $289,000 (highly experienced).
