Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Director, Digital Marketing role will make an impact:

  • Collaborate with commercial leadership to identify the most significant digital and media opportunities in terms of revenue generation and ROI.

  • Lead the development of comprehensive digital strategic and tactical plans by partnering with brand teams and agencies (media and creative) to translate brand strategic plans into optimal digital and media solutions.

  • Develop and effectively manage digital budgets.

  • Ensure that the team is consistently analyzing performance metrics and making the necessary adjustments in order to optimize ROI.

  • Lead digital innovation at Viatris by maximizing existing capabilities while evaluating new technologies and approaches within the digital and media ecosystem.

  • Lead the development of high-impact business cases to gain advocacy and secure funding for innovative initiatives.

  • Ensure digital marketing and commercial stakeholders have timely access to the metrics and KPIs needed to manage the business and assess performance, including the development of tailored reports and dashboards.

  • Serve as the principal leader for external digital agency relationships for both consumer and professional.

  • Guide, collaborate and appropriately influence partner functions to advance high potential digital initiatives.

  • Drive the development and enterprise-wide adoption of omnichannel capabilities, including U.S. Sales orgs.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant digital and brand experience.

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of relevant experience preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be considered.

  • Experience on both the agency and client sides preferred.

  • Direct experience designing, executing and optimizing digital, consumer and B2B marketing programs.

  • Direct experience with marketing analytics, and analysis and application of metrics against business goals.

  • Broad and deep understanding of digital marketing and media ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Excellent understanding of business and brand management as it relates to fast-paced consumer and pharma brands.

  • Knowledge of digital, social, mobile industry best practices including key vendors, services providers and agencies.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-collaboration environment and bring ideas together for a better solution.

  • Strong communication skills and project management skills.

  • Strong results orientated team player.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.  Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts.  Ability to present to groups across the organization.

  • Basic math skills required.

  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.

  • Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping.  Moderate travel is required.

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $151,000 - $314,000.
