Job Summary

Provide life insurance producers with specific advanced and enhanced planning support to generate and close advanced life insurance sales. In addition to having attained a legal degree, understanding advanced estate and business planning concepts, case design, developing advanced planning marketing tools, presenting planning concepts while spending extensive time researching technical tax and legal questions. Will also write articles and materials for insurance producer use.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Legal research regarding Life Insurance solution in estate and business planning.
  • Life Insurance estate and business planning case development.
  • Legal research, including, but not limited to: income and transfer taxation, life insurance products and other legal matters.
  • Writing articles and technical materials for agents’ use.
  • Act as a liaison between agents and carrier home offices to facilitate sales.
  • Support the sale of carrier specific and Crump proprietary advanced sales deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Superior interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed fashion.
  • Experience with PC's in a Windows environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of carrier specific advanced sales concepts.
  • 10 years of experience and/or education with various tax and legal rules pertaining to business and estate planning.
  • Juris Doctor or Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Estate and business taxation emphasis or CPA
