About the Role

We’re seeking a visionary Senior Director of Account Management to lead our team in delivering exceptional value to Private Equity Groups and their portfolio companies. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Scorpion’s Home Services Business by driving client-centric strategies, fostering team growth, and building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. This position is perfect for a leader passionate about inspiring high-performing teams, crafting innovative solutions, and driving measurable results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What Your Success Will Look Like
  • Team Leadership & Development You lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, real-time feedback, and intentional growth opportunities. You foster a culture of trust, accountability, and excellence, while guiding Account Managers through client communications, campaign strategy, escalations, and long-term planning.
  • Industry & Market Expertise You stay deeply connected to the Pest Control industry, bringing forward insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving client needs to help clients stay ahead.
  • Client Success & Retention You ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their partnership with Scorpion. You lead through escalations as both a strategic partner to clients and a coach to your team, turning challenges into learning opportunities.
  • Strategic Growth & Account Expansion You drive initiatives that strengthen and grow existing client relationships through renewals, upsells, and value expansion—directly contributing to retention and long-term revenue growth.
  • Account Strategy & Portfolio Oversight You oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, monitoring performance, client satisfaction, and growth opportunities. You lead performance reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and proactively address churn risk through strategic planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration You partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Service Delivery teams to ensure consistent messaging, seamless execution, and innovative client solutions.
  • Data-Driven Performance Management You leverage data and KPIs to guide decision-making, measure success, identify improvement opportunities, and celebrate team and client wins.
  • Process Optimization & Operational Excellence You continuously improve workflows, remove roadblocks, and implement best practices to increase efficiency, scalability, and service quality using technology and data insights.
  • Client & Business Risk Management You ensure client portfolios align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and reporting standards. You proactively identify risks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and implement solutions to protect client and business outcomes.
  • Digital & Strategic Advisory You serve as a strategic advisor to both clients and internal teams, bringing forward expertise in digital marketing strategy and emerging industry trends to drive stronger client results.
Who You Are And What You Bring
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  •  Experience
    • 8+ years of progressive experience in account management or client services within a digital marketing agency or comparable environment
    • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams, with a track record of driving performance and development
    • 2+ years managing private equity portfolios or leading a book of strategic or high-value accounts with end-to-end ownership of revenue growth, client success, and long-term partnership strategy
    • Demonstrated ability to rapidly ramp in new verticals and translate industry nuances into client strategy and results
  • Skills
    • Deep expertise in digital marketing strategy, performance channels, and the tools that power scalable growth
    • Uses complex data to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and guide high-impact strategic decisions
    • Builds and executes strategic plans that drive revenue, client success, and operational efficiency

Compensation  

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary is $130,000 (entry-level) - 150,000 (highly experienced).  This position's annual variable is $25,000 (entry-level) - $35,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.  Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
