Job Description:

Berklee is seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager (SDPM) to lead the strategic direction and management of its digital ecosystem, including Berklee.edu, related subdomains, the Berklee Hub, and other platforms. As part of the Communications & Marketing team, this technical role ensures Berklee’s digital platforms deliver exceptional, engaging experiences for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and global audiences.

The SDPM oversees a team of developers and works closely with stakeholders, designers, content strategists, and vendors to deliver high-quality digital products. This role balances daily operations with long-term strategy, leveraging expertise in product management, UX, and data-driven insights to advance Berklee’s digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Berklee’s digital products roadmap in alignment with institutional goals.
  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and technical specifications for digital projects.
  • Manage developers and contractors, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Guide stakeholders on using digital platforms and SEO effectively.
  • Oversee user support, system integrations, and vendor relationships.
  • Apply analytics to monitor site performance and improve user engagement.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies to enhance digital capabilities.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in digital strategy, product management, or related fields.
  • Proven success leading teams of developers and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong skills in project management, UX, and CMS platforms (Drupal/WordPress).
  • Technical expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational needs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Higher education or nonprofit experience is a plus; passion for music and the arts is strongly valued.

Hiring Range: $120,000 to $137,000; salary dependent on relevant experience and education.
