The Opportunity:

The Senior Digital Media Manager is a core member of the Unlock Health media team, playing a critical role within an integrated media team and influencing the development and management of clients’ paid digital media. This role is accountable for the day-to-day ownership of Programmatic and Social campaigns, responsible for campaign setup, management, optimization, billing reconciliation, and reporting while ensuring performance and operational excellence. Beyond execution, this role demands advanced storytelling and presentation skills, the ability to independently manage accounts, lead complex projects, and mentor junior team members. A successful candidate will champion innovation, foster team development, and consistently deliver high-quality results for clients.

In addition to deep expertise in Programmatic and Social, we are seeking someone who is passionate about AI and stays informed about the latest AI tools, trends, and platform advancements, particularly as they relate to programmatic, paid social, and other digital media channels. The ideal candidate has a collaborative mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the agency and with our clients. 

The ideal Candidate:
  • Experienced in leading the setup, execution, and performance of Programmatic and Social campaigns
  • Possesses strong knowledge of the digital landscape (programmatic, social, and paid search), and best practices
  • Expert in ad-serving platforms (e.g. Google Campaign Manager 360), DSPs, social ad platforms, and reporting tools
  • Deep understanding of campaign strategy including targeting, bidding, testing frameworks, and optimization techniques
  • Routinely analyzes data to drive optimizations and deliver actionable insights
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor narratives to different audiences
  • Continuous desire to learn and educate agency team and clients about the everchanging social and programmatic landscape
  • Passionate about AI, stays up to date on emerging trends and innovations, and is curious about how AI can drive efficiency, innovation, and future planning within digital media workflows
  • Has healthcare experience and/or a passion for healthcare industry
  • Thrives in an ever-changing landscape while fostering an environment that allows others to love what they are doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Understand the client's goals, challenges, priorities, timelines and desired KPIs
  • Key contributor and active participant, serving as the digital lead in internal meetings and actively participating in client statuses and meetings as appropriate
  • Accountable for social and programmatic platform strategy, execution, and performance for campaigns
  • Partner closely with Search, Planning and Analytic teams on campaign goals, channel budgets, cross-channel budget optimizations, performance and reporting
  • Understands the role, synergies and benefits of traditional channels
  • Partner with Ad Ops team to ensure campaigns are running as intended (correct budget, pacing, creative and data is pulling into GA4 and CM360)
  • Start to identify and test opportunities to refine processes and drive efficiencies between Digital and Ad Ops teams
  • Accountable for social and programmatic reporting inclusive of dashboard data, reports, insights, storytelling and presenting
  • Collaborates with Analytics team on dashboard needs and data connections
  • Educates media team, agency, and clients about the everchanging social and programmatic landscape
  • Supervises and mentors junior members on the team, develops and manages training schedules
  • Partners closely with Planning and Finance on billing reconciliation
  • Be a champion for the media team
  • Foster a positive morale and culture with direct reports and peers
Minimum Qualifications:  
  • 3-6 years hands-on experience in paid social and programmatic planning and execution in DSPs and Social Ads Manager platforms
  • Proven track record of successful campaign management
  • Proficient in tagging, trafficking and QA-ing campaigns
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to articulate strategy and performance to clients and internal teams
  • Ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and deliver insights tied to business outcomes
  • Interest in following healthcare, advertising, media, and AI trends
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
