The Role:

Can you bring a brand to life through every pixel and page? As Senior Designer, you’ll lead digital-first design execution across web, campaign, and brand marketing initiatives. You’ll partner closely with marketers, writers, and developers to produce polished, high-impact creative that drives clarity, emotion, and conversion.

You should be comfortable operating from concept to final files - contributing to web design systems, landing pages, social graphics, slide decks and other core brand development. You’ll bring both craft and speed, knowing when to explore and when to ship. This role is ideal for a senior IC with strong digital instincts and a clean, modern aesthetic, with a deep curiosity to build something remarkable.

As one of the initial marketing team, you’ll get to make your mark in defining the overall marketing strategy and motion in a highly dynamic market. This role is initially an individual contributor role, with scope to lead teams as we grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Create. Lead visual design for marketing initiatives across web, campaigns, and content - balancing brand expression and performance
  • Develop. Contribute to our design system for Fireworks.ai, ensuring consistency and polish across components, layouts, and interactions
  • Produce. Deliver production-ready assets for web, email, social, and events - working quickly while maintaining high visual standards and building on our overall brand
  • Collaborate. Partner with marketing, product, and web teams to concept and execute creative work that supports storytelling and pipeline
  • Elevate. Push the Fireworks brand forward, evolving its visual identity across touchpoints and ensuring excellence across external-facing materials
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in visual design, with a focus on digital and marketing environments
  • Strong portfolio of web, brand, and campaign work—demonstrating both creativity and craft
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and design systems for web
  • Ability to deliver production-ready assets for engineering or vendor handoff
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and typography
  • Demonstrated “builder” mentality: self-motivation, excels at establishing processes, scaling programs, and bringing ideas to life
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication and influencing skills
  • Ability frequently travel for on-site event coordination
  • Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Confidence evolving an existing brand while respecting its core identity
  • Eye for detail and consistency, with a pragmatic mindset about iteration and speed 
  • Experience and flexibility to work with physical design e.g. print, booth, swag
  • Excellence in communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Motion graphics, illustration, or experience in AI or developer-focused brands

Total compensation for this role also includes meaningful equity in a fast-growing startup, along with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual qualifications, experience, skills, interview performance, market data, and work location. The listed salary range is intended as a guideline and may be adjusted.

Base Pay Range (Plus Equity)
$160,000$190,000 USD
