Role Description: Senior DevOps - Infrastructure
 
Role Purpose: 
 
Wasabi is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure & DevOps team. This role is pivotal in architecting and managing the scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure that underpins our hot cloud storage platform.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes clusters with Helm and ArgoCD, and implementing network and security best practices. You’ll work cross-functionally with software engineering and SRE teams to automate and streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure our infrastructure scales to meet growing global demand.
You should be deeply familiar with infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and CI/CD tooling. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you’ll play a key role in the design and support of production-grade environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage production infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD (GitOps approach).
  • Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows using Python, Bash, and modern tooling.
  • Implement observability using ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager; lead incident response.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, or application issues and enforce strong security practices.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, MaaS, and containerized workflows.
  • Strong in CI/CD, GitOps, Linux systems, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, and cloud-native observability tools.
  • Solid grasp of networking (Layer 2/3), DNS, firewalls, and security best practices.
