Job Description

The Senior Designer is a high-level individual contributor responsible for elevating design excellence and executing high-impact creative across the HCM portfolio of brands and communities. This role focuses on the end-to-end design process—from initial concepting to final production—ensuring every asset reflects and evolves our brand voice across digital, social, web platforms and experiential. As a master of your craft, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing a sophisticated eye for detail and a proactive approach to collaborative problem-solving.

Execution & Craft

  • Campaign Creative: Conceptualize and design multi-channel advertising and marketing campaigns for our diverse range of clients, ensuring high-impact visual storytelling.
  • Content Production: Produce high-quality graphics, motion assets, and creative content tailored for social, editorial, and newsletter channels.
  • In-House Identities: Support the internal HCM brands and Communities by fulfilling branding and communication design needs across the organization.
  • Brand Evolution: Apply and iterate on existing design systems, ensuring a cohesive visual language across digital, social, and experiential verticals.
  • Digital Mastery: Design responsive web elements and digital marketing assets that balance aesthetic beauty with functional performance.
  • Technical Innovation: Proactively identify, research, and implement relevant design trends and emerging technologies to improve production efficiency and creative impact.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Company-Wide Partnership: Collaborate directly with stakeholders across the entire company—including Account Managers, Editors, Community, and Sales leads—to translate business goals into compelling visual stories.
  • Creative Partnership: Actively participate in creative brainstorms and peer reviews, offering constructive feedback and technical insights to elevate the team’s collective output.
  • Deliverable Management: Leverage Asana to manage daily tasks and project timelines, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with team deadlines.
  • Process Contribution: Assist in maintaining design systems and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across all brand touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of professional design experience with a focus on digital and social platforms. A strong background in web design and digital-first branding is highly preferred.
  • Portfolio: A standout portfolio that demonstrates exceptional execution, typography, layout, and a diverse design skill set. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and project management platforms 
  • Canva, Asana, Figma, and Ceros experience are a nice to have 
  • Adaptability: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and pivot quickly as priorities shift.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A proactive communicator who enjoys the "nitty-gritty" of design and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-moving environment.

Salary Range: $70-75k + Bonus Eligible
