Who we are

Typeform is a refreshingly different form builder. We help over 150,000 businesses collect the data they need with forms, surveys, and quizzes that people enjoy. Designed to look striking and feel effortless to fill out, Typeform drives 500 million responses every year—and integrates with essential tools like Slack, Zapier, and Hubspot.

Typeform is fully remote by design. For this role, we can hire candidates based in the ET timezone in the US.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to strengthen our Creative team and help elevate Typeform’s visual identity across marketing. This is a hands-on role for an experienced designer who can move comfortably between big, expressive brand work and fast-turnaround execution.

You’ll have a meaningful impact on high-visibility initiatives like our brand expression, website redesign, and major campaigns—while also helping reduce reliance on external agencies by delivering high-quality work in-house.

Things you will do:

Evolve and scale our brand expression

  • Help develop and roll out an updated visual brand expression across key marketing touchpoints.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency, clarity, and flexibility as the brand grows.

Design for impact across channels

  • Design for a wide range of outputs with a strong focus on web foundations, large marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Support creative experimentation, testing, and documentation of new modules and layouts.
  • Execute always-on creative work and smaller BAU requests with speed and care.

Collaborate across disciplines

  • Partner closely with Brand Copy, Product Design, Growth, and PMM to align visual and verbal storytelling.
  • Work with Creative Leads and external collaborators to review, refine, and elevate creative output.

Build strong systems and standards

  • Help maintain and improve Figma libraries and design documentation.
  • Contribute to clearer guidelines for layouts, color usage, and social design.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted design tools to improve efficiency and creative quality.
What you already bring to the table:

You’re someone who:

  • Has strong experience designing for marketing in a tech or product-led environment.
  • Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Is comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Enjoys collaborating openly and sharing ideas, feedback, and knowledge.
  • Is curious and proactive about new tools, formats, and ways of working.

You have experience with:

  • Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Designing and maintaining design systems or shared libraries.
  • Web and campaign design, including modular and responsive layouts.
  • Experimenting with AI-assisted design tools and workflows.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Webflow.
  • Experience supporting or participating in photoshoots.
  • Basic motion design skills.

No one likes a guessing game — that’s why we're transparent about the salary range for this role. In addition to the base, we offer a 5-10% bonus depending on your level and performance. The range is broad because we tailor total compensation based on your location, experience, education, and skillset.
We also want to ensure equitable pay across the team and alignment with market data — but let us handle those details. We’re committed to clarity and honesty, so feel free to ask us anything along the way.
Pay range
$100,000$120,000 USD

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
