We’re seeking a Senior Design System Designer to play a critical role in shaping the Hospitality Solutions digital experience. As a Senior Design System Designer, you’ll work alongside a team of world-class designers, engineers, and product managers to manage our design system and design solutions for the hospitality ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Research and design intuitive UI components and interaction patterns that meet accessibility and brand standards
Build and maintain scalable Figma component libraries
Use Gestalt principles, color theory, typography, and iconography to inform design decisions and express the brand
Define and document design principles, usage guidelines, and governance models for designers and developers
Advocate for the design system, with the latitude to push it further
Explore and prototype AI-enhanced design workflows and user experiences
Partner closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user goals into elegant, memorable design solutions
Manage multiple projects of moderate scope across the product lifecycle, setting the vision for the user experience, and clearly explaining the strategic purpose and user value behind decisions
Operate autonomously and drive progress by balancing collaboration, alignment, and decisiveness
Operate across projects with different speeds and effectively balance big thinking and timely execution
Be the voice of the user, advocating for solutions that deliver the best user experience with a consideration of available site data, user research, and industry best practices
What You Have
5 or more years of experience designing across mobile and web, with at least 1 year focused on design systems
Passion for design systems and data-informed product design
Visual design chops
Strong understanding of design tokens, modular scales, baseline grids, and responsive design
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion
Excellent communication skills, conviction, and a strong design point of view
A passion for travel
Portfolio that showcases your contributions to a design system and digital products, and demonstrates originality and strong problem-solving skills
