How we’ll deliver success:
The Sr. Demand Generation Manager at Shippo is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and revenue. This role focuses on creating and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into customers.
We're looking for a strategic marketer to bring our campaigns and events to life, partner tightly with Sales, and deliver measurable pipeline impact. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll lead our mid-market and enterprise acquisition strategy—including, but not limited to, our event strategy and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) motion.
You'll join a collaborative, agile, and results-driven Marketing and Sales team that’s passionate about making a real difference for merchants everywhere.
Shipping & Handling Responsibilities:
- Own the global demand generation strategy, designing and executing programs that attract, engage, and convert high-value prospects across the buyer journey.
- Lead scalable ABM initiatives leveraging platforms such as 6sense, Demandbase, Apollo.io, or Propensity to drive engagement and pipeline within priority enterprise segments.
- Own the full lead lifecycle—from acquisition through nurturing, sales handoff, and conversion—optimizing each stage to increase ROI and conversion rates.
- Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing to align on ICPs, messaging, and campaign strategy, ensuring seamless funnel flow and improved lead quality.
- Develop and execute high-impact event and digital campaigns, including webinars, field events, and sponsored activations, focused on demand creation and pipeline acceleration.
- Leverage tools like Clay and Marketo to enhance personalization, refine targeting, and automate scalable engagement.
- Monitor and analyze funnel performance, providing actionable insights, forecasts, and optimization recommendations to stakeholders.
- Create localized messaging and content tailored for enterprise SaaS and API audiences to increase campaign relevance and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and manage partnerships and sponsorships across key industry events and trade publications to extend reach and visibility.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture, experimenting with new channels, messaging, and tactics to improve conversion and efficiency.

Your shipping requirements:
- 5–8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong focus leading demand generation, field marketing, or ABM.
- Hands-on expertise with at least one leading ABM or intent data platform such as 6sense, Demandbase, Apollo.io, or Propensity.
- Familiarity with Clay, as well as tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and Looker.
- Experience in eCommerce, logistics, or shipping software is required.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS sales cycles and API-driven product landscapes.
- Skilled in creating content and messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers and developers.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills; thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience reporting on marketing KPIs and ROI.

Our Compensation Shippolicy
We believe compensation is a custom experience and are commited to fair and equitable compensation practices. The standard base pay range for this role is min is $141k to a max $192k annual salary. We tend to anchor our pay in the middle of this range ($166k). Since we are focused on hiring Shippos Everywhere, we have 2 US pay ranges, a standard compensation range for the majority of the US and a standard +1 compensation range for those who live in areas where the cost of labor is higher, such as NYC and California.
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: financial budgets, work experience, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market value. The base pay salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future. Total compensation for this role will include, equity, medical, dental, vision and other benefits noted in our Shippos “package” section.
