About Fresche

Fifty years in, and we're just getting started. Since 1976, Fresche has engineered the way forward for the systems and data businesses run on. Today AI sits at the center of everything we build, deliver, and market.

IBM i runs the core of organizations like PriceSmart, Mitsubishi Motors, and PAR. Fresche modernizes those systems, moves them to the cloud, unlocks their data for AI, and keeps them running around the clock. PriceSmart moved to the cloud with just two hours of downtime and built capacity for 18% annual growth. Now we're bringing that same energy to marketing. See more at freschesolutions.com.

The Role

We're hiring a Demand Generation Manager for one of our Business Units ( Modernization, Managed Services and Cloud or Software). We modernize. We automate. It's in our blood, and we want a marketer who works the same way.

This is an AI-first role for a creative thinker. Use AI to automate everything that can be automated, then apply your own judgment to the messaging, design, and content that make buyers pay attention. Prompting a tool and shipping the output isn't the job. Elevating it is.

Your ultimate test is the middle and bottom of the funnel: turning attention into engaged buying committees ready for a sales conversation. You'll partner closely with Product Management and run programs for prospects, customers, and partners. Your job is to make Fresche impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creative. Develop big ideas, messaging, and campaign concepts that cut through a crowded IBM i market. Shape voice and design, and treat AI output as a starting point, never the finish line.
  • Own MOFU. Build programs that create conviction, such as assessments, ROI tools, case studies, demos, and executive briefings – and even bring new ideas that are out of the box. Own nurture, account-level scoring, and MQL-to-opportunity conversion.
  • Run an AI-first engine. Automate research, segmentation, personalization, campaign builds, and reporting. Test new AI tools fast and reinvest the time saved in strategy and creative.
  • Use every channel, then find more. Orchestrate paid (search, LinkedIn, programmatic, retargeting, CTV), organic and community, SEO and AEO (be the answer in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews), third-party (syndication, industry media, review sites, analysts, marketplaces), events, podcasts, webinars, and direct mail. Keep testing what's next.
  • Partner with Product Management. Turn roadmap, positioning, and customer proof into offers and campaigns, and feed market insight back.
  • Drive demand across three audiences. Win net-new logos, expand the installed base, and build joint campaigns with IBM, Microsoft, and channel partners.
  • Execute and align. Build campaigns end to end in HubSpot with clean tracking, and align with BU Sales on lead definitions and hand-off.
  • Measure what matters. It’s all about the date that drives your strategy. Report pipeline, ROI, and conversion to leadership, and make the call on where to invest or pull back.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in B2B demand generation, with a record of moving buyers through MOFU into qualified pipeline.
  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a portfolio to prove it, a strong eye for design, and a sharp editorial voice.
  • AI-first by default, with examples of using AI to scale output while raising quality.
  • Hands-on experience across paid, organic, SEO/AEO, and third-party channels, and a view on how AI is changing search.
  • Experience marketing managed services, cloud, or IT infrastructure with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Sales, and channel partners.
  • Strong in HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and fluent in funnel data.

Not the right fit: if your approach is to paste a prompt and publish the output, this role isn't for you.

Success in Year One

  • 90 days: BU demand plan agreed with Product and Sales, a fresh creative direction, and an AI-automated campaign workflow.
  • 6 months: MOFU program live across prospects, customers, and at least one partner, with measurable conversion lift.
  • 12 months: the most distinctive marketing in the IBM i market, backed by attributable pipeline against BU targets.

We are always looking for highly motivated, energetic, creative individuals who work well in a fast-moving team environment and are committed to excellence.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
