About Telnyx

Telnyx is an industry leader that's not just imagining the future of global connectivity—we're building it. From architecting and amplifying the reach of a private, global, multi-cloud IP network, to bringing hyperlocal edge technology right to your fingertips through intuitive APIs, we're shaping a new era of seamless interconnection between people, devices, and applications.

We're driven by a desire to transform and modernize what's antiquated, automate the manual, and solve real-world problems through innovative connectivity solutions. As a testament to our success, we're proud to stand as a financially stable and profitable company. Our robust profitability allows us not only to invest in pioneering technologies but also to foster an environment of continuous learning and growth for our team.

Our collective vision is a world where borderless connectivity fuels limitless innovation. By joining us, you can be part of laying the foundations for this interconnected future. We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

Who you are

A demand generation operator who runs marketing like an engineering system: you plan, execute, measure and iterate with AI agents doing the heavy mechanics and you making the judgment calls. You own outcomes, not channels. You are joining a small, Demand Gen team where every member owns a product pod end-to-end; yours is a brand-new pod that you build from zero, with dedicated budget.

What you'll do
  • Run paid media across every channel we operate. Launch and manage campaigns across search, social, programmatic and emerging AI ad surfaces. You run the whole loop yourself, per channel and per region: launch QA, pacing, creative refresh and landing page validation.
  • Direct the AI agent fleet. Our campaign operations run on autonomous agents built on agentic runtimes like Hermes and powered by frontier models like Claude. They propose budget shifts, copy fixes, and keyword and audience changes. You write and refine the prompts, review recommendations with confidence scores, run the approval queue, and decide when to override the machine. You get more done through agents than through dashboards.
  • Own the budget. Monthly budget planning and pacing across platforms, reallocations grounded in performance data, spend tracking you can defend line by line, and discipline inside approval guardrails.
  • Optimize relentlessly. Weekly performance reviews across all channels, creative fatigue detection, search term and audience mining, CPA and funnel diagnostics, kill/scale decisions with pre-declared thresholds.
  • Run ABM end-to-end. Define the pod's ICP and target account lists, build ABM segments and Salesforce pools, run regional rollouts with sales, and keep lists clean and synced with ad platforms.
  • Close the alignment loop. You are the bridge between sales, RevOps and product marketing: hot accounts and win/loss reviews with sales, lead routing and attribution with RevOps, positioning and messaging with PMM. You feed paid-media intelligence back into all three.
  • Run influencer and creator programs. Identify, brief and amplify creators; manage sponsorship and paid amplification of their content; measure whether their audiences actually convert.
  • Report to stakeholders. Weekly and monthly performance reporting to sales, marketing and leadership, in plain language with honest numbers and clear next steps.
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years in B2B demand generation for developer tools, infrastructure, telecom or a comparable technical category
  • Hands-on, full-funnel paid media experience across at least three major ad platforms
  • AI and agentic fluency is the core requirement: you already use AI agents or automation in your marketing work, you can prompt precisely, review machine-generated recommendations critically, and design workflows where humans approve and machines execute
  • ABM experience with concrete examples of account targeting that produced pipeline
  • Strong with data: you can reconcile platform-reported conversions against CRM and attribution data and say no to numbers that don't hold up
  • Comfortable owning a new, undefined space: budget arrives, the motion gets built
What's in it for you
  • You work at the edge of AI and the infrastructure that powers it. The products you market are the same ones you use: AI agents, agentic runtimes and Telnyx's own inference APIs sit inside your daily workflow, not behind a vendor roadmap.
  • You get the latest tooling before anyone else. Frontier models, agent frameworks, voice AI and inference: you run the newest AI tools as part of the job, and your feedback shapes how they ship.
  • You build from zero with an unfair head start. A dedicated pod budget, an agent fleet already executing the mechanics, and senior counterparts who run the other pods end-to-end.
  • You own a real budget. You decide where the money goes, and you are measured on pipeline, activations and revenue, not vanity dashboards.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
