About the Role

We're seeking highly skilled Financial Advisors, Credit Counselors, or Debt Specialists with a proven record of helping clients reduce credit card debt and improve credit health.

The ideal candidate blends financial expertise, technical proficiency, and client-centered communication to deliver actionable, compliant debt solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Assessment: Analyze detailed client credit reports, balances, repayment history, income, spending patterns, and DTI (Debt-to-Income) ratios.

  • Debt Strategy Design: Develop structured repayment strategies using debt avalanche/snowball, consolidation loans, balance transfers, and EMI conversions.

  • Credit Score Optimization: Provide technical guidance on FICO, VantageScore, and CIBIL scoring models; explain score factors, credit utilization, and risk segmentation.

  • Debt Consolidation Consulting: Evaluate and compare lender offers (banks, NBFCs, or U.S. creditors) based on APR, tenure, balance transfer options, and total cost of debt.

  • Compliance & Regulation: Follow FTC, CFPB, FDCPA, and state debt counseling regulations.

  • Client Coaching: Educate clients on responsible credit management, financial planning, and long-term score improvement.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track repayment progress, update debt management plans, and maintain client records in CRM systems.

Core Technical & Analytical Qualifications:
  • Credit Analytics Expertise:

    • Advanced understanding of FICO, VantageScore, and CIBIL scoring models, including factors, weightings, and recalibration impacts.

    • Experience interpreting credit bureau data files (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, CIBIL) and identifying error patterns.

    • Knowledge of credit utilization ratios, credit mix, and derogatory item analysis.

    • Debt Management Tools:

    • Familiarity with debt repayment software (e.g., DebtPayPro, CreditRepairCloud, or similar).

    • Experience using loan comparison platforms, financial calculators, and credit analytics dashboards.

  • Financial Modeling & Tools:

    • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, amortization modeling, NPV/IRR calculations).

    • Comfort using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and financial data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI preferred).

    • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:

    • Working knowledge of KYC, AML, fair lending laws, consumer protection, and data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) as applicable.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Ability to prepare detailed client financial reports, repayment forecasts, and compliance summaries.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7-15 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Credit Counselor, Debt Specialist, or Credit Analyst.

  • Strong knowledge of consumer credit markets, unsecured lending, and credit repair mechanisms.

  • Demonstrated success guiding clients toward measurable debt reduction and credit score improvement.

  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have:
  • Certifications:

    • India: CFP India, NISM-Series-VII (Securities Operations & Risk Management), or RBI-recognized certifications.

    • USA: CFP®, AFC®, NFCC, or similar financial counseling credentials.

  • Experience in fintech, credit repair SaaS, or consumer lending ecosystems.

  • Fluency in English and regional languages (for India-based candidates).
