The Revenue Operations team is looking for a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to Sales on complex, high-impact deals. This role sits at the intersection of pricing, quoting, systems, and commercial decision-making, ensuring deals are structured accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives as the company scales.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with deep Software as a Service (SaaS) Quote-to-Cash experience, strong Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) / Revenue Cloud expertise, and the commercial judgment to influence deal outcomes.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations within a SaaS business.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Quote-to-Cash and CPQ / Revenue Cloud.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, including assessing pricing, discounting, and deal-structure trade-offs.

  • Experience supporting complex deal constructs such as ramps, renewals, amendments, and non-standard terms.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Systems teams.

  • Experience modeling and comparing deal scenarios to support pricing and negotiation decisions.

  • Exposure to billing systems, subscription management, renewal operations, or revenue recognition concepts.

  • Prior customer-facing experience in Sales, Customer Success, or Commercial Operations is a plus.

What you can expect:

  • Partner directly with Sales to structure complex and non-standard deals, including pricing strategy, discounting, ramps, stub billing, multi-year agreements, amendments, and renewals.

  • Recommend deal structures that balance customer needs with revenue integrity, margin, policy compliance, and scalability.

  • Identify commercial, operational, and revenue risks within deals and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Provide data-driven guidance and scenario modeling to support negotiations and decision-making.

  • Own end-to-end deal review and execution in Salesforce, ensuring quotes and contracts are accurate and ready for invoicing.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) / Revenue Cloud, resolving complex quoting and cross-object issues.

  • Ensure alignment between Salesforce configurations and downstream billing or subscription systems.

  • Enforce pricing, discounting, and approval policies while managing exceptions consistently and serving as an escalation point for complex approvals.

  • Analyze deal data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, reduce cycle time, and improve deal quality.

  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and Sales enablement resources that increase self-sufficiency and scale Quote-to-Cash operations.

What success looks like:

  • Complex deals close more efficiently with fewer downstream corrections.

  • Deal quality, policy adherence, and revenue integrity improve as deal complexity increases.

  • Deal Desk processes and guidance scale effectively with business growth.

  • Sales views Deal Desk as a strategic partner that enables faster, higher-quality deal execution.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
