What You’ll Be Doing:
We are looking for a Senior Data Visualization Engineer to join our DGX Cloud team and craft interactive, high-impact visual interfaces that help infrastructure operators, engineers, and executives understand and optimize the performance of NVIDIA’s GPU infrastructure. You will design and build rich UIs and dashboards that make operational data accessible, intuitive, and actionable.
Build interactive visualizations using libraries such as D3.js, Apache ECharts, Vega, or similar tools.
Design and develop modern frontend applications (React, TypeScript, Next.js) that surface insights from large-scale cloud telemetry.
Translate complex GPU and cloud operational metrics into visual stories that guide decisions and actions.
Collaborate with backend, SRE, and data engineering teams to shape APIs and data models tailored for visualization.
Contribute to the UX and design of observability and analytics platforms used by infrastructure teams across NVIDIA.
Drive performance, accessibility, and usability across visual dashboards and internal tools.
Own and lead projects from concept through execution, with a focus on usability, scalability, and maintainability.
What We Need To See:
5–9+ years of professional experience with a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience), or 2+ years with a PhD, in front-end development, data visualization, or related fields.
Mastery of web-based data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, ECharts, Vega-Lite, Chart.js).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks like React or Next.js.
A strong design sensibility with a passion for making data accessible and beautiful.
Familiarity with real-time telemetry systems, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and backend integration.
Experience with data storytelling, information design, and crafting responsive UIs for complex data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A portfolio or examples of past work that showcase data visualizations or interactive tools.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Contributions to open-source data viz tools or public visualization projects (GitHub, Observable, Tableau Public, etc.).Experience working with observability data (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
Familiarity with GPU, infrastructure, or cloud operations domains.
Demonstrated ability to distill noisy, multidimensional data into clear, visual insights that drive action. Fluency in accessibility and inclusive design practices for visual data.

The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 264,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
