Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

AdRise, acquired as part of the Tubi deal in 2020, is FOX’s advanced technology platform for managing CTV and linear inventory. It now powers OneFOX, which is our cross-portfolio inventory product across FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX News Media, and Tubi. The platform supports seamless and highly targeted media buying across linear, digital, and streaming ecosystems, and integrates with partners such as AWS Clean Rooms, Snowflake, and DSPs.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the AdRise team focused on building and scaling the Data Management Platform (DMP) and Ads Data systems. This role will lead the development of high-performance data pipelines that ingest, transform, and activate identity, audience, and ad delivery data. These data pipelines are critical to driving FOX’s monetization and measurement strategy across platforms.

SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support the ingestion, transformation, and activation of identity, audience, and advertising data

  • Integrate with external identity resolution solutions and data partners to enable audience targeting and segmentation

  • Develop data workflows that support ad delivery, campaign performance tracking, and cross-platform reporting

  • Build and maintain attribution pipelines that connect first-party and third-party signals to media engagement and conversion events

  • Ensure data infrastructure meets standards for quality, reliability, and governance using modern engineering best practices

  • Collaborate with teams across engineering, product, and data science to define requirements and deliver actionable data solutions

  • Use cloud-based tools and services such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift to implement robust, production-ready workflows

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Technical Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, preferably within the AWS ecosystem

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and EMR

  • Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, and Amazon Redshift

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and schema design

  • Knowledge of data integration and data transformation techniques

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus

AdTech and Identity Data Expertise

  • Experience working with AdTech data including ad server logs, pixel data, and bid logs

  • Understanding of digital identity data and the application of identity graphs in digital advertising ecosystems

Core Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex data environments

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

  • Demonstrated success in delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions that support business goals

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
