As a Senior Data Analyst at Swan, you will play a vital role in our growth by interpreting complex data sets, deriving actionable insights, and enhancing analytics across the company. We are looking for a data storyteller who can uncover opportunities, influence strategy, and empower our teams to make data-driven decisions that shape the future of Bitcoin.
Your responsibilities- Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams to identify and answer critical business questions and ensure teams are interpreting data correctly.
- Own the full lifecycle of data analytics projects, from ideation and data exploration to insight generation and presentation.
- Develop and champion core metrics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the organization. This includes prototyping and curating dashboards, queries, and metrics to improve Swan’s insights and products.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators and business growth.
- Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, including the executive team.
- Act as a strategic thought partner, using data to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and overall business strategy.
- Proactively identify improvements and data-driven initiatives such as reporting automation, better tooling, and team trainings.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably in a fast-paced tech or fintech environment.
- Expert in SQL with a solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Proven track record of creating impactful data visualizations using Tableau, Looker, QuickSight, or similar industry-standard platforms.
- Prior experience working with data warehouses (Redshift), data transformation platforms (dbt), customer data platforms (Rudderstack, Segment).
- Comfortable using AI to ideate, iterate, and troubleshoot work.
- Eager to contribute to projects outside of the ordinary scope of a pure Data Analyst.
- Deep knowledge of Bitcoin and a passion for its potential in transforming financial services.
- US timezone required
- Compensation for this role will be based on location and experience, and may include base salary, equity, and benefits.
Remote pay range (based on location and experience)
$100,000—$120,000 USD
