The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. You’ll partner across the business to surface insights that help us understand our users, optimize marketplace dynamics, and unlock new growth opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone with strong analytical skills who is ready to move beyond dashboards and KPIs, and into predictive modeling, experimentation, and advanced analytics.
You’ll work closely with senior analysts, product managers, operations, marketing, finance, and engineering to answer key business questions using data. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more technical, model-driven projects as part of your development toward a data scientist track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Finance analytics with an eye towards interactions with Product, Marketing, and Operations activities and impacts on performance KPIs
- Utilize advanced analytics to study and understand causal factors driving business trends and make recommendations to optimize key outcomes
- Analyze marketplace and user behavior trends across supply and demand
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to support stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer urgent business questions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define metrics, interpret data, and make recommendations
- Support the development of KPI frameworks across departments
- Assist in the development of experiment and A/B test design, with deep dive analytics to generate further understanding and recommendations, and ideation for next steps
- Document and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with the data team to ensure clean, reliable, and well-structured data sets
Learning & Growth Opportunities:
- Get mentorship and support from senior data team members
- Gain hands-on experience with predictive models, A/B testing, and machine learning methods
- Learn best practices in analytics engineering using tools like dbt and Airflow
- Participate in roadmap planning and scoping of advanced analytics projects
- Advance toward a Data Scientist role with clear development milestones
Technical Environment:
- Databases: Google BigQuery, Postgres
- Tooling: dbt Cloud, Airflow, Git
- BI Tool: Tableau
- Languages: SQL (required), Python (growing usage for modeling and automation)
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Ability to create clean, intuitive dashboards and reports in Tableau (or similar tools)
- Comfort collaborating across teams and explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python for data analysis or modeling (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Exposure to experimentation, predictive modeling, or segmentation techniques
- Familiarity with marketplace businesses or platform data
- Eagerness to grow into a Data Scientist role over time

- Analyze liquidity in key metro areas to guide marketing and supply growth
- Build dashboards to track booking trends and customer lifetime value
- Explore pricing sensitivity across different types of listings
- Support launch analysis for new product features or market expansion
- Segment host or guest behaviors to inform lifecycle marketing strategy

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
