OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

AdRise, acquired as part of the Tubi deal in 2020, is FOX’s advanced technology platform for managing CTV and linear inventory. It now powers OneFOX, which is our cross-portfolio inventory product across FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX News Media, and Tubi. The platform supports seamless and highly targeted media buying across linear, digital, and streaming ecosystems, and integrates with partners such as AWS Clean Rooms, Snowflake, and DSPs.

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help support FOX’s data-driven advertising initiatives across its digital and linear platforms. This role is a key contributor to FOX’s internal Data Management Platform (DMP), working alongside engineers, product managers, and AdTech stakeholders to deliver actionable insights from complex, large-scale data systems.

You will own the analytics process end-to-end from defining KPIs and scoping requirements to delivering high-impact reporting, visualizations, and insights. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has hands-on experience working with AdTech or audience data, and is comfortable navigating modern cloud-based data environments.

SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate business goals into analytical questions and deliver insights to support audience targeting, campaign performance, and media effectiveness

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis using large-scale advertising and audience datasets to inform monetization strategy

  • Interface with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Ad Operations, and Sales to define KPIs, data needs, and reporting frameworks

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for dashboards, ad hoc requests, and recurring reporting workflows

  • Develop self-serve dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Looker

  • Collaborate with data engineers to validate datasets, refine data models, and ensure high-quality reporting

  • Present findings in clear, compelling ways to both technical and non-technical audiences

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Core Analytical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role

  • Highly proficient in SQL for querying, aggregating, and analyzing large-scale datasets

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decisions across business and technical teams

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage analytics projects from scope to delivery

Technical Experience

  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, especially AWS Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, S3, or Snowflake

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar

  • Ability to validate data, QA reporting pipelines, and contribute to reliable reporting standards

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience working with advertising data, such as campaign delivery, audience segments, or pixel data

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, Agile environments and navigating multiple stakeholders with varying priorities

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience with statistical analysis techniques such as clustering, regression, or classification

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)

  • Familiarity with basic ETL workflows or collaborating closely with data engineering teams

  • Understanding of digital identity, targeting frameworks, or AdTech measurement strategies

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
