Valtech is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to join our cross-functional commerce enablement team. This person will partner closely with platform engineers, DevOps leads, and client teams to unlock value from operational, behavioral, and infrastructure data. Role responsibilities- Analyze cross-platform performance and operational data from tools including ELK, Jenkins, ServiceNow (SNOW), and SFCC/Fluent Commerce/SFMC logs.
- Build dashboards and reports to track platform uptime, deployment success/failure rates, incident trends, and data anomalies.
- Translate system logs and alerts into business-impacting insights to support root cause analysis, proactive issue resolution, and optimization.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to refine logging strategies, monitoring metrics, and alert thresholds.
- Partner with QA, engineering, and delivery teams to design KPIs related to digital commerce health and customer experience.
- Perform data validation and exploratory analysis on 3rd-party commerce integrations including OpenText DAM, Salsify PIM, and OneTrust.
- Document findings and lead insight-sharing sessions with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and business teams.

- 5+ years of experience working in a data analyst, product analyst, or operational analytics role.
- Proficient in SQL, with experience querying large or semi-structured datasets (e.g., logs, JSON exports).
- Seeking deep expertise in one or two major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS), with a strong track record of designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud solutions.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Kibana to create compelling, actionable dashboards.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting system logs, error trends, or deployment metrics.
- Familiarity with data from DevOps or digital commerce platforms such as SFCC, SFMC, or Fluent Commerce.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Experience analyzing log data from observability platforms like ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM or other ticketing systems for incident/change data analysis.
- Background in statistical or exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Python, R, or notebooks (Jupyter, Databricks).
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and how they relate to deployment metrics and system health.
- Exposure to customer journey or funnel analytics using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Heap, or Mixpanel).
