Job Description

Your Career:

Unit 42 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our GTM Operations and Analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the success of Unit 42 by providing critical operational support to our GTM teams.  You will be a key partner in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring the overall health of the business. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and collaborative execution.  The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a proven ability to execute.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack data science professional with expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data pipeline management, coupled with strong business acumen. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at translating data into actionable insights, and have a proven ability to execute cross-functionally.

Your Impact:

  • Data Science & Advanced Analytics

    • Experienced with the end-to-end data science pipeline, from data collection and cleaning to model development and deployment.

    • Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to solve business challenges and optimize GTM performance.

    • Develop optimization algorithms (e.g., linear programming) to improve resource allocation, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.

    • Leverage feature engineering and data mining to extract actionable insights from large datasets.

    • (Bonus) Explore AI/LLM applications to enhance analytics capabilities.

  • Operational Excellence

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across GTM functions.

    • Automate workflows and reporting using Python, SQL, and Google Cloud tools.

    • Build and maintain KPI dashboards (Tableau, Looker) to track business performance.

  • Business Partnering & Strategy

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.

    • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and inform planning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to align data initiatives with business goals.

    • Support security transformation programs by analyzing data and improving processes.

  • Project Leadership

    • Manage a portfolio of analytics and operations projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).

    • Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.

    • Experience with end-to-end data pipelines (ETL, feature engineering, model deployment).

    • (Bonus) Familiarity with Google Cloud, AI/LLMs, and big data technologies.

  • Analytical & Business Skills:

    • 3-4 years of experience in data analytics/data science field required.

    • Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.

    • Strong problem-solving and mathematical modeling skills.

    • Experience in SaaS/subscription business models (preferred).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and storytelling with technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $101,000 - $164,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
