Leveraging AI and predictive algorithms, Inkitt discovers unknown stories and turns them into blockbuster hits, producing a new $1M ebook every 4 weeks and selling directly to consumers through its Galatea app. Inkitt has become the 11th most bestseller-generating publisher in the world, boasting a 40x higher hit-rate than traditional publishers. Recently raising a Series C and backed by some of the top VC’s such as: Khosla, Kleiner Perkins, and NEA Ventures, our recent expansion into CandyJar is only the beginning of our journey to becoming the next-gen entertainment powerhouse.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a top-tier Senior CRM Lifecycle Marketing Manager who is both a strategist and a hands-on executor, to drive exceptional revenue growth for our flagship apps, Galatea and CandyJar. This role is tailor-made for a CRM expert who thrives on data, analytics, and automation. You’ve mastered the advanced features of platforms like Iterable—going beyond high-level analytics to build sophisticated customer segmentation and automated, personalized lifecycle flows that drive revenue. You will lead the charge in analyzing current CRM data, testing customer segmentation, and planning and executing cutting-edge lifecycle campaigns that deliver personalized experiences and turn installs into loyal, paying subscribers.
    Core Responsibilities:
  • Audit & Strategy: Analyse current CRM data across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging for Galatea and CandyJar. Identify opportunities to enhance customer segmentation and personalization, and suggest optimizations and innovations that will drive revenue.

  • Behavioral Segmentation & Content Targeting: Analyze user behavior and content performance data to define sophisticated audience segments. Leverage these insights to determine the optimal messaging and content strategy for each cohort, ensuring highly relevant and personalized touchpoints.

  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and execute campaigns with cutting-edge personalization automation that optimize conversion to paid customers, and drive renewals and winbacks.

  • Roadmap Development: Work closely with the CRM Director to develop strategic roadmaps that leverage advanced segmentation and behavioral triggers to optimize existing campaigns and launch new initiatives.

  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the tech team to implement personalization logic, dynamic content, and automated workflows that adapt to user behavior.

  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Deploy a rigorous test-and-learn approach—designing, executing, and iterating A/B tests to maximize impact.

  • Performance Analysis: Dive deep into CRM performance data to extract meaningful insights, refine targeting and messaging, and continuously optimize campaign effectiveness.

  • Innovation & Market Leadership: Stay ahead of CRM trends, emerging tools, and best practices, ensuring our lifecycle marketing strategy remains cutting-edge and highly effective.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong track record of scaling CRM programs within digital B2C businesses, directly driving revenue growth.
  • Deep experience leveraging CRM platforms (e.g., Iterable) to build highly targeted audience segments and behavioral cohorts that drive conversion. You know how to go beyond standard demographics, using data to create hyper-relevant, personalized experiences at scale.
  • You don’t just strategize—you own execution from start to finish, ensuring every campaign delivers measurable impact.
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies and analytics tools with the ability to dig deep into data to understand next steps.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to make your own queries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, tech, and analytics teams.
  • You continuously push for improvement, challenging assumptions, iterating fast, and delivering ever-stronger results.
  • You move fast and are willing to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself to get the job done.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Autonomous
  • Bring solutions instead of problems
  • Highly data driven
  • Quick to action
  • A high functioning workaholic
  • Looking for exponential career growth
  • Have lots of fun building a generational AI x Entertainment company

What We'll Offer:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
