Description:

KarmaLab is Reddit’s in-house creative strategy team. We partner with brands and internal sales teams to create Reddit-first creative that is culturally fluent, strategically sound, and built to perform at scale.

As a Senior Creative Program Manager, you will be responsible for how creative work gets done. You’ll lead complex creative programs from intake to launch, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to ambitious ideas. This role sits at the center of creative, strategy, production, and sales, ensuring work moves efficiently without compromising quality. You’ll own program delivery, vendor orchestration, localisation, and operational systems, helping KarmaLab scale its impact across markets. You’re not just managing timelines, you’re solving problems, improving how teams work, and building repeatable models that raise the bar for the entire organization.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, thinks proactively, and sees operational excellence as a creative advantage.

More about you…

  • You’re a solutions-oriented program leader who knows how to run complex creative work without slowing it down. You bring calm, clarity, and momentum to fast-moving environments and take pride in building programs that help teams do their best work.
  • You’re comfortable working across regions, disciplines, and levels of seniority, and you see process, vendors, and localisation as tools to unlock better creativity, not obstacles to it. You see production not just as execution, but as a creative and operational advantage. You are, at the core, a solutions person.

Location:

New York / Chicago

What you’ll do:

  • Lead creative programs, owning delivery from intake and planning through execution and launch.
  • Act as the central point of accountability for timelines, dependencies, resourcing, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Build and manage a strong vendor ecosystem, overseeing sourcing, onboarding, scopes, performance, and ongoing partnerships.
  • Lead localisation of creative work across multiple markets, ensuring relevance, consistency, and efficiency while maintaining creative and brand integrity.
  • Design, refine, and implement program management systems, workflows, and processes that improve visibility, speed, and scalability across KarmaLab globally.
  • Identify operational risks and bottlenecks early, bringing clear, practical solutions to keep work moving.
  • Partner closely with Creative Strategists, Sales, and Clients to align creative ambition with delivery reality.
  • Support multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing fast-turn needs with longer-term strategic programs.

Who you are:

  • You’re a senior creative program or project manager with strong operational instincts and a bias toward action.
  • You communicate clearly, think proactively, and are trusted to run complex work independently.
  • You’re highly organized but flexible, able to adapt as creative work evolves.
  • You enjoy collaborating with creative teams and know how to protect their time and ideas.
  • You’re comfortable operating in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments and bringing order without bureaucracy.
  • You are a solutions person.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in creative program management, production, or operations within advertising, media, or digital environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-market or regional creative programs.
  • Strong experience with vendor management, including coordination, performance oversight, and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or improve systems and processes that support creative teams at scale.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Agency or in-house creative team experience strongly preferred.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs
  • 401k with Employer Match
  • Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support
  • Family Planning Support
  • Gender-Affirming Care
  • Mental Health & Coaching Benefits
  • Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off
  • Generous Paid Parental Leave

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
