Position Summary
The Sr. Cost & Budget Analyst is responsible for providing specialized analytical support in budgeting and cost management activities, with a focus on financial planning, monitoring, cost control, and efficiency improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets to support business objectives.
- Prepare and update financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic plans.
- Perform detailed cost analysis and control, identifying risks and optimization opportunities.
- Analyze budget versus actual variances and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop cost projections and assess financial trends to support decision-making.
- Monitor and report key cost and budget performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support financial planning activities through budget tracking and performance analysis.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI;
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably TOTVS Protheus;
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken;
- Strong analytical skills and experience preparing executive reports and financial insights;
- Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and interact directly with the CFO and senior leadership;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills;
- MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance, Controllership, or a related field is desirable.
