About CodeRabbit

CodeRabbit is an innovative research and development company focused on building extraordinarily productive human-machine collaboration systems. Our primary goal is to create the next generation of Gen AI-driven code reviewers: a symbiotic partnership between humans and advanced algorithms that significantly outperforms individual engineers. We combine language models with human ingenuity to push the boundaries of software development efficiency and quality.

Role Overview

As CodeRabbit’s Senior Content Marketing Manager, you’ll be critical in helping us shape our blogs, landing pages, SEO strategy, and ad copy. You’ll shape compelling narratives across blog articles, ads, landing pages, and other marketing channels—ensuring every word works hard to engage our target audience – while being genuinely funny in a way that resonates with developers. You’ll also lead SEO strategy and optimization, making sure our content reaches the right people at the right time. This role blends editorial excellence with strategic marketing execution to grow CodeRabbit’s authority and demand.

What You’ll DoEditorial Leadership
  • Support the planning, editing, and publishing of high-quality blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership pieces through editing

  • Review and refine content for clarity, style, grammar, and brand consistency

Copywriting & Campaign Support
  • Write persuasive ad copy for search, social, and display campaigns

  • Create high-converting landing pages optimized for both SEO and conversions

  • Collaborate with design and product marketing to craft messaging that resonates with developer and decision-maker audiences

SEO Strategy & Optimization
  • Support and evolve CodeRabbit’s SEO strategy, from keyword research to on-page optimization

  • Optimize existing content to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement

  • Track performance metrics, analyze results, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product, design, and growth teams to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning

  • Translate technical concepts into accessible, compelling stories

  • Collaborate with external contributors, freelancers, and agencies as needed

What You’ll BringCore Experience
  • 5+ years in content marketing targeted to developers at B2D companies, with a portfolio that spans blogs, ads, landing pages, and SEO-driven content

  • Experience writing compelling and genuinely funny (not corny) copy (must provide examples)

  • Significant experience copywriting landing pages and ads

  • Proven track record editing and refining content for clarity, impact, and SEO

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)

Communication & Creativity
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail

  • We need you to be funny since humor is a key part of our brand voice. We like clever copy and taglines and are looking for someone who can help lead us in coming up with them.

  • Skilled at turning complex ideas into engaging, actionable content

Marketing Toolkit
  • Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Posthog) for measuring content performance

  • Deep understanding of SEMRush and other SEO tools

Nice to Have
  • Experience in AI/ML industries

  • Familiarity with paid search and social ad platforms

What We Value
  • High Agency: You own initiatives end-to-end and adapt quickly

  • Over-Communicative: You keep stakeholders in the loop and share learnings openly

  • Developer-First Mindset: You’ve reviewed code prolifically and understand dev workflows

  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in cross-functional teams and elevate peers

Our Values
  • 🤝 Collaborative Humans: Prioritizing collective intelligence

  • 🚀 Fearless Innovators: Turning obstacles into growth opportunities

  • 💪 Persistent, Passionate Developers: Thriving on complex, long-term challenges

  • 🎯 Impact-Driven Creators: Crafting intuitive tools for developers

  • 🧠 Rapid Learners and Un-learners: Adapting quickly in our fast-paced technological world

To apply, submit your resume, portfolio, and examples of published content. CodeRabbit is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
