Responsibilities

We are seeking a NetSuite Functional Senior Consultant to lead ERP implementations and help clients modernize finance and operations through AI, automation, and data-driven insights.

This role extends beyond implementation—you’ll partner with clients to improve processes and operating models, connect business and technology, and deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementations (design, configuration, testing, go-live)

  • Co-create solutions with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders

  • Configure NetSuite across core modules (Financials, O2C, P2P, Inventory, etc.)

  • Drive delivery outcomes—managing scope, risks, and key decisions

  • Lead data migration, validation, and reconciliation across legacy and target systems for accurate, audit-ready deployments

  • Design reporting, dashboards, and insights for business decision-making

  • Identify and embed AI and automation opportunities (forecasting, workflows, copilots)

  • Partner with technical teams on integrations and solution architecture

  • Build client relationships and support change, training, and adoption

  • Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative team culture

  • 5–8+ years of NetSuite ERP implementation experience in functional consulting, solution design, or business transformation roles

  • Strong background in finance and operational processes, including record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, business process design, and workshop facilitation

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, practical solution designs

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups

  • Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing presentation skills

  • Industry subject matter expertise in one or more sectors such as software/SaaS, professional services, distribution, manufacturing, or nonprofit

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor by bringing industry perspective and practical leading practices to client solution design

  • Experience with AI, automation, or analytics in business environments
  • Familiarity with Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, Celigo, Power BI, Tableau, and MCP connectors to NetSuite

  • Ability to identify and apply AI use cases that drive business value

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification preferred; additional NetSuite certifications beneficial

  • CPA Certification

  • Industry Subject Matter Expertise

  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles

  • Exposure to multi-subsidiary (OneWorld) environments

  • Experience in fast-paced or high-growth organizations

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
