As a Senior Compensation Consultant, you will lead complex compensation initiatives focused on job evaluation, internal equity, market reviews, survey participation, and overall compensation analysis to develop consistent and equitable pay programs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintain market competitiveness across relevant labor markets. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in compensation administration, manage large projects and processes and may assist in the development and guidance of other compensation caregivers. You will provide expertise in Executive Compensation, Incentive Programs, International Compensation, Sales Compensation, and other specialized areas. This position will work on compensation programs, particularly incentive compensation, by reviewing and applying eligibility criteria, completing scoring and award calculations, maintaining compensation rules and structures, and partnering on specialized compensation initiatives.

This role will support projects, programs, and initiatives including incentive compensation, the Mission Impact Plan, physician compensation, international compensation review, and Workday Extend. You will manage incentive compensation work and the build-out of the incentive program in Workday Extend, including technical compensation processes tied to system configuration.

A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This role prefers candidates who reside in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Consult with Human Resource Services, Talent Acquisition and management across the organization to identify/resolve compensation-related initiatives and issues for assigned client groups.

  • Manage the Executive Compensation process

  • Lead major, complex Compensation projects and participate in a variety of Human Resource related projects.

  • May consult on Workday solutions specific to the Compensation function

  • Interface with Human Resources representatives to ensure appropriate level of understanding and administration capability relative to the broad spectrum of both direct and indirect compensation programs.

  • Perform audits of various Compensation programs and the application of the programs to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as local, state and federal laws and guidelines.

  • Analyze various market and legal trends to determine whether Compensation programs are market-competitive and are compliant with current legal regulations.

  • Mentor and train lower-level analysts.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

  • 10 years of Compensation experience

  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Master's degree

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires ability to sit for extended periods of time, normal or corrected vision; dexterity sufficient to perform work utilizing a personal computer.

  • Ability to perform duties in multiple facilities and locations.

Personal Protective Equipment:
