Job Summary

Assists in the development and administration of employee incentive/bonus plans and salary administration programs by performing the following duties

Essential Job Duties

  • Calculate weekly commission and submit to Payroll
  • Calculate and process payments for one or more Bonus/Incentive plans
  • Coordinates with payroll to ensure all bonus and commission payments are processed accurately and timely
  • Works with the field management to process plan changes for GMs and above resulting from transfers, promotions or revised targets
  • Advises management and Field HR staff on compensation actions for employees.
  • Reviews proposed salary actions (base salary, adjustments, promotions) to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies
  • Develops analytical tools and statistical reports/dashboards to monitor and track bonus payments and base salary actions across Caliber
  • Researches special compensation programs or incentive systems to support the organization's objectives
  • Analyzes current organizational pay practices and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity
  • Participates in development and administration of performance review system to ensure compliance with salary administration guidelines
  • Provide guidance and direction as needed to less experience compensation analysts
  • Other duties as assigned

Skill/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • HR Analyst/HR Data Reporting/HRIS experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills, with strong attention to details and accuracy.
  • Must be an Advanced Excel user
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiar with a variety of the HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant U.S. laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, Tax, GAAP, SEC) related to compensation programs
  • Experience processing commission-based payouts preferred
