In This Role

In this role, you will serve as the social voice for a leading education-focused gaming franchise, driving awareness, engagement, and community growth across owned social media channels. You will partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and creative teams to develop and execute social strategies, manage content calendars, and translate business objectives into compelling digital storytelling. This role blends strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on connecting educational value with culturally relevant social content.

Responsibilities
  • Lead social media planning and execution, ensuring alignment with overall brand voice, strategy, and business objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, product, creative) to translate priorities into effective social campaigns
  • Act as a bridge between business goals and creative execution by shaping briefs and guiding content development
  • Manage day-to-day social operations including:
    • Content calendar planning
    • Copywriting and publishing
    • Community engagement and light moderation
  • Identify and leverage cultural trends, platform updates, and creator ecosystems to enhance engagement
  • Create and curate content at scale, including user-generated content (UGC), creator features, and community highlights
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, contributing to reporting and optimizing campaigns based on insights
  • Support campaign planning tied to major initiatives (e.g., education-focused marketing efforts, industry events)
  • Maintain consistent, high-quality presence across social platforms
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, communications, PR, or community management
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media strategy, planning, and execution
  • 1+ year of experience in a relevant industry (e.g., gaming, entertainment)
  • 1–2 years of experience in the education sector
  • Experience managing high-volume social media channels for established brands, preferably within gaming or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of current social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence without direct authority
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., native platform analytics, Sprinklr) and performance reporting
  • Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience specifically within gaming or entertainment environments
  • Familiarity with educational products, programs, or audiences
  • Knowledge and experience with a popular sandbox-style game franchise (strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting large-scale campaigns or product launches
  • Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging, culturally relevant social content

Salary Range 

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $38 – $40.87 USD/Hourly.  Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
