· Monitor and report on product KPIs, delivering transparency and accountability across all levels of the organization

· Lead the annual planning baseline, defining tradeoffs, benefits, and impact of work

· Recognize the drivers of financial health for the product portfolio, accounting for tradeoffs and presenting options

· Manage a high volume of large product initiatives within a defined period, ensuring successful build outcomes

· Act as a mentor and coach for other product managers

· Travel quarterly for customer onsite meetings and events

What You'll Bring:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

· 5–7+ years of commercial and technical product ownership experience across multiple companies

· Experience in financial, payment, or treasury product roles requiring high attention to detail, including online payments, payment reconciliation, or B2B fintech

· Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable automation, Cash Application workflows, and B2B finance processes

· Proven experience in go-to-market and launch strategy

· Strong grasp of market drivers, with familiarity in Total Addressable Market (TAM), Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and Target Customer Profile (TCP)

· Demonstrated success scaling mature products and leading transformation efforts, ideally involving AI/ML capabilities

· Exposure to AI technologies, including LLMs, data classification models, and agent-based automation

· Deep commercial acumen, with the ability to dissect revenue drivers, customer segments, pricing models, and adoption funnels

· Ability to manage a product backlog in a fast-paced, product-centric environment

· Prior experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating complex needs into scalable solutions

· Ability to engage clients directly in user forums, roundtables, and customer outreach sessions

· Exceptional self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, and accountable without requiring constant oversight

· Strong communicator and influencer, able to align stakeholders around strategy and execution

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
