What You'll Do:
The Strategic Sales & Analytics Senior Manager role is responsible for driving and optimizing commercial performance of a portfolio of products under
the Shark Brands.
As part of the Strategic Sales & Analytics organization, you will deeply analyze the market/sales/customer performance, forecasts, and promotion
calendar on a regional level, and collaborating with local and cross functional teams to drive strategic alignment, weekly commercial reviews and
actions. A strong background in commercial management (at category level), excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence cross-functionally to
achieve category objectives is ideal. You will also be responsible for:
Strategy and Portfolio Development:• Develop EMEA category strategy and plans to win, including product assortment, pricing and promotional activities• Support and pressure test local strategy and forecast to ensure alignment with EMEA level guidance• Involved in annual budget planning and target setting activities• Identify category gaps/opportunities, craft sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate Shark from competitors, helping to
increase distribution, space and displays.• Coordinate with category marketing and product development teams to guide new SKU introductions and discontinuations.• Work with cross functional teams across global, regional and local to jointly develop and drive commercial plans around the category• Set clear targets and beacon across KPIs, and track against them to ensure continuous growth
Category execution• Be the glue in ensuring seamless launch of new Shark products, in line with the category strategy• Support the development and monitoring of key events such as promotional activities• Work closely with the strategic planning and operations team to enable operational excellence• Own and drive key meeting cadence to ensure alignment across cross functional teams
Sales Performance Reviews• Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly category performance reviews and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.• Utilize data analytics tools to track category performance at account level and drive decisions on sales and marketing tactics.• Connect the dots across multiple performance metrics including but not limited to sell-out, market share, market size, conversion and gross
margin• Drive tactical actions and decisions based on weekly performance reviews.• Ensure healthy inventory levels across EMEA via balancing supply with demand and minimize obsolescence.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, operations, and other departments to gather data, understand business drivers, and
support decision-making.• Communicate the category vision and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders through presentations, reports, and
meetings.• Able to spot the smoke and communicate effectively across the organization to find solutions
What You'll Bring:• 10+ years of experience in category or commercial management• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.• A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any of the detail.• Strong commercial acumen and mindset• Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Obsessed with Winning mindset• Problem solving and initiative.• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.• Ability to travel as needed.
