About the Role

You will be the second member of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security

This role is centered on developing user experiences around data, with a specific focus on data visualization. We work in TypeScript, and various visualization technologies, along with React and Remix to power our application.

What you will do
  • Run Omni everywhere - help us evolve our AWS-based platform to be portable to other cloud infrastructures like Azure and GCP

  • Monitor and improve - keep an eye on system metrics and implement changes to improve performance and reliability and enforce best practices for cloud security and compliance

  • Automate everything - stay nimble and efficient by scripting and automating operational tasks

  • Keep our cloud platform humming - participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical infrastructure issues.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Proficiency in at least one infrastructure as code tool (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, CDK, Azure Bicep).

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and computing concepts in a cloud environment.

  • Experience writing scripts to automate manual operational tasks
