Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Note: This is a hybrid role; the candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of our Costa Mesa, CA office and be available to work on-site 3 days a week on a regular basis.

What You’ll Do 

  • Design, deploy, and maintain high available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.

  • Build scalability, fault-tolerance, security, and performance into our data platforms to meet our growing data & analytics needs.

  • Deploy ML models, monitor model performance, identify and resolve issues in ML lifecycle.

  • Partner with our Information Security, Application Security, Data Center Services, and Cloud Infrastructure Services teams to ensure data is secure both at-rest and in-flight.

  • Configure and optimize networking components to ensure high performance, availability, and security.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Implement platform observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.

  • Design and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins.

  • Automate application deployments, testing, security scanning, and release management processes.

  • Implement DevSecOps controls including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and compliance checks.

  • Build automated ML model training, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.

  • Implement feature store, model registry, experiment tracking, and model governance solutions.

  • Collaborate with application teams on microservices architecture and API management.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Improve system performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

  • Manage and resolve incidents related to data engineering pipelines.

What You’ll Need 

  • Extensive hands-on expertise in troubleshooting logs and optimizing system performance.

  • Deep understanding of Cloud and data security in AWS or Google Cloud.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for identifying the underlying issues in Cloud services such as Glue, Lambda, Big Query, and Cloud Functions.

  • Good experience with Cloud platforms AWS and/or Google Cloud in supporting Data pipelines and integrations.

  • Experience with Cloud Automations using Cloud Formation or Terraform.

  • Good understanding of network infrastructures and protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS.

  • Familiarity with data integration from different sources into Big Data systems is preferable.

  • Familiarity with SQL and programming languages such as Python, Spark, YAML, Bash, MLops tools like SageMaker

  • Cloud Certification in DevOps in AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$132,600.00 - $176,900.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
