What You’ll Do

As a Senior Cloud Architect – AWS Migration, you’ll lead the charge in helping enterprise clients modernize their infrastructure and migrate complex workloads to AWS. You'll apply deep cloud expertise, cutting-edge tooling, and hands-on migration experience to design, architect, and deliver seamless transitions to the cloud—unlocking innovation, scalability, and performance for our customers.

Here’s a glimpse into your day-to-day:

  • Partner with clients to assess current infrastructure and define the best AWS migration strategies.
  • Apply AWS’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) to align migration plans with business and technical goals.
  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using services like EC2, Lambda, VPC, RDS, S3, DMS, and AMS.
  • Identify and group application dependencies using mapping techniques to build migration move groups.
  • Evaluate and use migration tools including AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, Backup, and third-party platforms.
  • Assess cloud readiness and recommend modernization/refactoring of applications for AWS.
  • Build detailed migration roadmaps outlining resources, timelines, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and integration of apps and data.
  • Support clients throughout migration—offering technical guidance, training, and minimizing disruption.
  • Stay ahead of AWS innovations and trends to bring forward-thinking solutions to our clients.
  • Lead client workshops and serve as a subject matter expert internally and externally.
Requirements

What You Bring

We’re all about skills, attitude, and passion. You’re a great fit if you have:

    • 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 6 years focused on AWS.
    • Proven success leading large-scale AWS migration projects (including full data center moves).
    • Expert knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and Networking.
    • Mastery of AWS’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and its real-world application.
    • Proficiency in automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
    • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
    • Familiarity with config management tools like Ansible (nice to have).
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (required).
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills—you’re great at translating tech to diverse audiences.
    • A mindset of continuous learning and a passion for sharing your expertise.
