Summary:
A Senior Client Account Representative is the liaison between the client and all other personnel in the department. This position will help maintain existing business with current clients, grow business relationships with current clients, and assist in bringing new clients on board. The position consists of responding to client requests, resolving client concerns, and understanding client needs to build positive and productive relationships with clients.
Ovation is seeking a dedicated Client Account Representative to own one of our largest accounts to ensure our clients receive exceptional services while supporting our business goals and vision. The ideal candidate will excel in building strong relationships with large, multi-facet clients, acting as the primary contact for all Revenue Cycle Management related issues, escalations, account management. They will work closely with one large client account to understand their needs, ensuring that company and client goals are aligned and achieved. By fostering trust and open communication, they will create a positive client experience.
Client Relations:
Required: You must have a minimum of 7 years experience managing accounts in the Revenue Cycle Management space.
Ensure that client needs are being met by the company.
Establish trusted relationships with the client project team, key influencers/stakeholders, and client executive leadership.
Clearly communicate challenges, shortcomings, and issues to customers by assessing causes and implications, recommending solutions and costs, and encouraging shared problem solving.
Develop and communicate a clear vision of customer success and regularly report on the status to all key stakeholders.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert assigned to revenue cycle implementations, ensuring contracted deliverables are met in compliance with contractual terms and aligned with company processes.
This individual will report to the Director of Client Services.
Analysis:
Create quarterly and monthly departmental reports to analyze if practice goals are met.
Facilitate all analytical requests from the client and determine if IT assistance is necessary to deliver the analysis.
Frequently review the client’s revenue to ensure client expectations are met and identify trends.
Qualifications:
7+ years working in the healthcare revenue cycle.
Proven leadership and issue resolution abilities.
Strong software/technology acumen and understanding, including basic database principles and data exchange formats.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare terminology.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and especially advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools.
Strong written and oral communication skills; team player.
Experience with EDI and/or healthcare transactions desired.
Preferred Knowledge:
Experience any of the following systems: EPIC, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.
Knowledge of payer/hospital contracts, healthcare code sets, and RCM analysis.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions.
Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities.
A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required, including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions, no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
