We’re seeking a Sr. Claims Manager for our Renters line of business who has a proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to people management, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement while driving results through effective mentorship and team engagement. This role is also responsible for leading execution of change management, claims strategies, employee development, employee engagement, and technology adoption as well as drive execution of operational risk management, regulatory compliance training, and procedures across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Renter’s claims teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing.

  • Drive digital adoption and process automation across claims operations.

  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and improve procedures.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Customer Service on complex claims.

  • Oversee escalated claims, settlements, and customer complaints.

  • Develop and implement training programs and SOPs.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop front line managers.

  • Drives development by holding managers accountable for functional and leadership coaching and encouraging associate development planning.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead change management and strategic initiatives aligned with company values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of P&C claims management experience in multi-line, multi-state claims

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience including coaching and developing of people leaders (managers/supervisors)

  • Strong people management experience

  • P&C Adjuster license or ability to obtain within 30 days. 

  • Skilled in negotiation, mediation, and interpreting policy/legal documents.

  • Proven leadership in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Pay Range:

$101,500.00 - $169,400.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
