The Senior Channel Systems Engineer role is focused on supporting some of our strategic regional channel partners reporting to the global channel sales engineering manager. The position aims to educate and instill confidence in Cohesity solutions and helps accelerate their technical sales. 
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Guiding Strategic Channel Partners on how to qualify, identify use cases, and pitch/position the product/solution. 

  • Enabling on the technology and how to demo, size/configure, and integrate. 

  • Assisting VAR SEs in the process of winning deals 

  • Visiting regularly to build strong, personal relationships 

  • Helping integrate our product into their higher-level solutions/offerings 

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 6+ years of experience in IT 

  • Experience in these technical areas is required 

  • Storage, Backup, Virtualization, Security 

  • Prior experience working with/enabling partners 

  • Additional experience highly desirable: 

  • Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance 

  • Database Protection and Recovery, Distributed Systems 

  • Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Layer 2 Networking and Firewalls, Scripting / Automation 

  • Excellent communication and project-related skills are also required 

  • Strong verbal communication/presentation skills 

  • Strong written skills and the ability to document 

  • Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making

  • The ability to work multi-functionally and run meetings to achieve a plan 

  • The ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline 

  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) 

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$133,280.00-$166,600.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Current pay transparency shows the OTE (On-Target Earnings) for commission-based roles.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
