We’re looking for a Senior Campaign Strategist to help drive the strategy, creative, and execution of campaigns and always-on programs, including product launches, thought-leadership, brand initiatives and sales-enabled programs. As a Senior Campaign Strategist, you will help us to build a distinctive brand, drive pipeline and achieve strong business results. You will also bring the voice of the customer to campaign strategy, ensuring that campaign initiatives create a positive experience for new prospects as well as existing Hootsuite customers. In this strategic role, you’ll help translate complex challenges into clear paths of actions by combining your nous for analytical, strategic and tactical thinking and ability to collaborate with teams across marketing, product and sales. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement integrated go-to-market campaigns, ensuring Hootsuite brand campaigns, product launches and thought leadership reports achieve maximum business impact.
  • Be a champion of clear and effective briefs for creative and channel teams, seeing campaigns through from their conception to execution.
  • Develop and own campaign strategies, content strategies, and messaging frameworks for a variety of projects that align with our global marketing strategy with the aim of engaging our audience, building our brand, and driving leads/trials/demos. 
  • Partner closely with Insights, Product and GTM teams to ensure the voice of the audience is deeply ingrained in our marketing efforts  
  • Present research, insights, and campaign strategies to senior leadership to get feedback, alignment and buy-in, as needed.
  • Support our creative and channel teams with concepting, pitching, and executing campaign ideas. Serve as a stakeholder in creative concept feedback. 
  • Support senior leaders  in the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each marketing channel to quantify success and drive continuous improvement. Regularly monitor, track and report these metrics to ensure campaigns are achieving desired outcomes.
  • Deliver on our quarterly marketing plans by ensuring briefs ladder up to overarching goals and by operationalising tactics into programs that maximise our ongoing impact
  • Enhance  campaign performance by analyzing  real-time data and leveraging insights to continually improve results and ensure they contribute meaningfully to business objectives.
  • Lead and influence strategic initiatives and research to inform industry-leading content and campaigns. 
  • Be an inflection point of clarity that brings different teams together around a shared understanding of the strategy and its success
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • 8-12 years’ of marketing experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS and/or B2B technology companies or an agency role working with tech, SaaS and/or B2B.
  •  A strong passion for understanding customers and deep desire to help marketers succeed with effective marketing strategies, technology, and social tactics.
  • Familiarity and experience with B2B omni-channel marketing tactics. (e.g. social, digital advertising, website, email marketing, content marketing, PR, and events).
  • Comfortably work with spreadsheets and multiple data sources including Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, and Google Analytics to uncover content and creative insights (with the help of our analytics team).

  • Expert understanding of marketing strategy, brand strategy, campaign messaging, positioning, and B2B marketing tactics.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to diplomatically sell your ideas to executives and a diverse group of stakeholders.
