Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing and procurement of goods. Purchases raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies for a group of products/functions. Develops supply sources by interviewing potential suppliers, visiting current vendors to improve relations and assessing supply facilities and negotiating price. Ensures that the minimum level of inventory for the allocated commodities are maintained without jeopardizing the continuity of scheduled production within the customer release schedules. Participates as a strategic liaison with the relevant suppliers to ensure raw material requirements are satisfied. (Experience: Greater than 5 years)
