About the Role

We're looking for a contract Senior Buyer to drive growth across a multi-category, high-growth soft goods business. You'll lead a team, manage key partnerships, and deliver insights that support business goals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic vision through market analysis, identifying customer and financial opportunities, and navigating organizational challenges
  • Manage multiple categories, balancing objectives, metrics, and deliverables
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and external brands
  • Onboard new partners and manage vendor exits as needed
  • Analyze business performance and present actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and coach your team, providing feedback and supporting professional growth
  • Ensure products deliver value with a customer-first mindset
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support eCommerce leadership on projects
  • Represent the company at trade shows, market meetings, and vendor engagements
  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed

We are considering remote applicants who can occasionally commute to attend meetings or work from our Los Angeles office.

About You
  • 8+ years in buying, merchandising, or category management in soft goods
  • Proven experience driving strategy and managing multi-category growth
  • Track record in building and managing internal and external partnerships
  • Skilled in onboarding partners and making vendor decisions aligned with strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present actionable recommendations
  • Experienced in leading, mentoring, and developing a team
  • Focused on product quality, price/value alignment, and customer-first approach
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
